What do we do with your information ?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. How do you get my consent ?

How we handle location data?

We utilise your location data to run, maintain, and improve the Consumer Services, as well as to better understand you and personalise products. The most common application of location data is to determine a precise location in the event of an accident.

Some Ajjas Apps features and functionality require you to provide your location. When you use our Apps on your mobile device and have location services turned on, we collect and use your geocoordinates (e.g., latitude and longitude) to adapt the Consumer Services to your present location. Only with your express permission will we process your location. We will receive your device's location even if you are not using the Apps if you have persistent background location set on. Except with your approval or as permitted by this Privacy Policy, your location is never shared with anyone.

We use a variety of technologies to determine your precise location, including your operating system's or browser's location services, sensor data from your device (e.g. magnetometers, barometers, gyroscopes, accelerometers, compasses, Bluetooth data, beacon data, Wi-Fi access points, GPS data, and cell tower data), and other data that may assist us in determining your precise location.

We use the location data to send an accident alert to the emergency contacts recorded in the Ajjas app in the event of an accident. This is crucial for the rider's safety and for us to be able to deliver fast assistance at that precise place. Another use of location data is to keep track of areas you've visited/traveled to and consume facts particular to that location, such as top speed, average speed, and so on.

You may revoke your permission to share your background location with us in our Ajjas App at any time by heading to your operating device settings and turning off background sharing.

How We Protect Information?

We take several steps to protect to protect the data we collect throughout collection, transmission, and storage. We use reasonable safeguards for your information that are proportionate to its sensitivity. The Services encrypt personal information using industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. Ajjas works with industry leaders in online security, such as Service verification, to improve the security of our Services. The Services are registered with site identification authorities so that your browser can validate Ajjas's identity before sending any personal information. Furthermore, Ajjas' secure servers safeguard this information with advanced firewall technology.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Payment

We use Razorpay for processing payments. We/Razorpay do not store your card data on their servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved. Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
